Hello Blog!

I haven't posted since July 1st! I have been away from my blog, e-mail, home and normal life for a while! I hope things will be returning to normal now! I have been staying with my Mom most of the time.
My Mom turned 85 on June 27 and two days later she started getting sick, kidney infection.
After two trips to the ER and a four day stay in the hospital and two trips to the doctor we thought she was improving. Then we found out that her pacemaker needed to be replaced. Another doctor visit and then she had the pacemaker replaced yesterday morning. The doctor said she did great and she got to come home about three hours after! Wow! can you believe the things they are able to do and then send you home!
Her pacemaker had been in 7 years in June, average life was 5 years.
She rested well last night and said she wanted to do a little more for herself today! She stood in the kitchen and fixed her coffee the way she likes it, the last few weeks she walked to her chair and just waited for me to bring everything to her.
My brother is staying with her for a few hours so I could come home and get clean clothes etc.
Hopefully! I'll be able to spend more time at home to scan more of the old pictures I got a few weeks ago.
I'm so thankful that Mom is improving!

Thanks for your kind words. Mom is still having home health and needs someone with her all the time. Her goal is to live alone again! We are praying for that.
We are now very sad that one of our cats may die soon. She has kidney problems and the vet said there is nothing else he can do! We have had our cats 8 years tomorrow, sisters! They are so sweet. The one not sick watches over the sick one. We are all very sad.
