My great grandfather Hiram Kelley was a carpenter and helped to build these homes. They were built from 1902 to 1904.
I love the home in the color photo. It's beautiful! The homes in the sepia photos are quite lovely, too, though smaller. He was a good carpenter!
I have carpenters on two sides of my family, too. Unfortunately, family members didn't tell stories and point out what they built, so I know of only one house one of them built. Lucky you to know and have photographs!
It looks like one that one would find on a good looking calender. It has that Homey look oe would see in a movie yet more. Definately something to be proud of then and now.

What a gorgeous home... I know your Great Grandfather Kelley must have been proud of his work.
