The back of this picture says Nettie Davis and Clara Davis.The two oldest girls in this picture could be the two little Davis girls in the above picture. Or at least I think they look similar and they have the same last name.
The back of the Davis family picture says Mr. and Mrs. Davis and family and in the address area it says Mrs. l.a. Newby. I know that my Great Great Grandmother was Lydia A. Newby. If only I knew who the Davis family was.
Now if only I can figure out if this family was related to the Newby family or just friends.

Hmmm Harriet, Looks like you'll have to do more research on the Davis family to find the connection... Neat old pictures.
We've gotten nothing but rain lately --but I think Chattanooga got even MORE yesterday than we did. I don't know about you--but I'm NOW ready for some sunshine.

I don't know of anyone in the family with a last name of Davis.
I am so ready for the SUN! As I look out the door now it is pouring the rain!! The rain woke me up during the night it was coming down SO hard. I am thankful we have a good roof!
