I love flowers but in no way have a green thumb. I love the Moss Rose and planted seeds this spring, guess they got too much rain and died. So I bought a plant which is what you see above.
The picture is before we went on vacation. It almost died while we were on vacation, forgot to ask the neighbor to water the flowers. I think it will survive.
When we bought our house the people left a planter of Moss Rose on the deck. We enjoyed them for several years but then they died. We've had them several times over the years but they only lasted one summer.

Ah, vacations and the lack of water on flowers. I will be facing that dilemma next week. I hope there is a day or two of rain while I'm gone. I have never seen a moss rose. I'll have check that one out. Very pretty.
These are my husband's favorite flowers, so my daughter and I put a bunch in planters on our deck. Thank goodness they're pretty tolerant flowers or they would have died in some of the heat we've had already.
