Tombstone Tuesday

This is the marker for W. M. Edgemon, Jr. who I believe is the father of Samuel who was last week's Tombstone Tuesday post. This grave is at the Edgemon Cemetery which we recently visited. An interesting and informative marker, I'm not sure who gathered all the information. The Edgemon Family has a reunion at the site of the Edgemon Cemetery each August. I'm sure there are many family genealogist among the Edgemon's who have recorded information for many years.
This would be my Great Great Great Great Grandfather!

Neat tombstone, Harriet. I made it larger so that I could read it. That is special.. I hope that he is your 4Great Grandfather... How neat is that.
Hugs,
Betsy

That's great. Don't you wish all tombstones had that amount of information?

Thanks for stopping by. Yes it would be great if all tombstones had this much information. I haven't done a lot of research on the Edgemon's myself but from what others have done, he would be my 4 Great Grandfather. I know you can't take the information you find as fact so I'll get around to researching the Edgemon family someday.
